Sterilization & Safety — The Dentico Standard

Your safety isn’t a line item for us — it’s the foundation of how we work. Every instrument, every surface, every visit follows strict, evidence-based hygiene protocols. No shortcuts. Ever.

How we sterilize every instrument

  • Thorough pre-cleaning — removal of debris and rinsing.
  • Ultrasonic cleansing — dislodges microscopic particles.
  • Pouch sealing — instruments are sealed before sterilization.
  • Class-B autoclaving — high temperature & pressure for complete sterilization.
  • Opened in front of you — sterile pouches are unsealed chairside, just before use.

Single-use where it matters

We use disposable, single-use items wherever possible — including gloves, suction tips, irrigation tips, gauze, and patient bibs — to eliminate cross-contamination risks.

Surfaces you can trust

Between every patient, we disinfect all high-touch areas (dental chairs, lights, trays, switches). We also perform daily deep-cleaning & surface disinfection across treatment zones to keep the clinic spotless.

A dedicated sterilization room

All cleaning and autoclaving happen in a separate sterilization room, away from patient areas, for maximum hygiene and a one-way, contamination-free workflow.

Trained team. Protected patients

Our clinicians follow strict barrier protocols — new gloves for every patient, masks, head caps, and protective eyewear when required. For aerosol-generating procedures, we add face shields/PPE as needed.

Radiation safety (when X-rays are needed)

We use digital X-rays (RVG) to keep exposure minimal, and provide lead aprons to patients (and doctors, when required) for additional protection.
